1894 California Midwinter Exposition; San Francisco, Ca. So-Called Dollar # 245a Brass 33mm Type II R-5 Rarity
Obverse: Modified State Seal differs from #245 in that the sun rays, which from behind mountains in background, end short of stars at border: three vessels and miner with pick much smaller than on #245; bear is lying down near the bottom edge "Moise S.F.; no border circle.
Reverse: Similar to #245 (5 lines in text) but date (1894) and Souvenir / California / Midwinter / Exposition much larger' no border circle.
