1808/7 "One major variety is the 1808/7 Capped Bust Half Dollar Overdate Error. This variety features an 1808 date struck over an 1807 date which resulted in parts of the underlying "7" being seen within and around the last "8" in the date." This can be seen on the Last "8" top of 7 and inside the 8 with the bar.
