This 1883 Liberty Nickel is in above average circulated condition, made from a "Racketeer Nickel" during 1883 when people use to (Gold plate them) and try to pass them off as Five Dollar gold coins, because it does not have the word cents on the reverse, so they made a Love Token out of it, they bettered the coin now. It has a loop at the top for a pendant or for a charm bracelet, The obverse show the initials "MH" set in a ornamental scrolling at upper left and the lower right a very nice scrolling set on a plain flied. This Nickel is made of Nickel.
